SOCIAL CARE IN COMTEMPORARY IRELAND

In order to clarify the meaning of social care there are several nerves which need to be examined, such as the social care industry and the occupations; the train methods and qualifications needed to enter the field; the occupations which dont kind of fit into the category but that work in fraternity with social care practitioners; and perhaps most importantly, the types of people or clients who receive social care. There is also another aspect to be considered in this investigation, and that is the history of social care in Ireland.

Despite laws and acts being in place the idea of care today was different to the idea of care throughout Irish history as shall be illustrated in the next paragraph.
