Born on December 4th, 1925 in a small town called Mundare, Albert Bandura was the youngest child of 6. He was the only son and his parents emigrated to Canada from Eastern Europe. With no formal education, his parents practiseed hard until they saved equal m angiotensin-converting enzymey to buy a house for the entire family. Banduras father taught himself to read 3 languages which included Russian, Polish, and German. His father similarly served as a member of the take board.
In Alberts younger years, he be to what seemed to be the only school in his town. Bandura received his B.A. degree from the University of the British Columbia in 1949. In 1952, he obtained his Ph. D from the University of Iowa (Isom, 1998). While he attended the University of Iowa he then developed, what we know now as the affable Learning Theory. This theory is categorized as the cognitive theory because it explains human behavior by understanding the intellection process. Basically, Banduras theory was that he believed aggression is conveyed through and through a process called behavior modeling. He argued that individuals, especially children learn aggressive responsive from observing others, either personally or through the media and environment (Isom, 1998).



Today, Albert Bandura is employed at the University of Stanford and has been a psychology professor there since 1953.
Bandura has written several books and articles that have been utilise in psychological studies and research. His first book, written in 1959, was to a fault written by Richard Walters. The book Adolescent attack was a study on the influence of child- training practices and family interrelationships, followed by Aggression: A Social Learning Analysis. In 1977, one of Banduras most prestigious books was published, called the Social Learning Theory.
