I got the favour to see Tyler Junior Colleges 2011 production of Macbeth on the darkness of its dress rehearsal. Ive been following the production of this since the beginning of schoolhouse because Ive been familiar with the play since my sopho much year of spunky school. Upon seeing that night I had high expectations for it due to the particular that it starred some of the acting fraternitys close known actors. However, since it was just a dress rehearsal, I did appreciation my opinion and expectations in check. For those who are not familiar with the flooring it is to the highest degree a general named Macbeth who after a want battle, meets three witches prophesize that he will be a thane and then king. Not believing this at first, he goes about his worldly concernner until he learns that he has become the actual thane. Still speculative he tells his (vindictive and bratty) wife, Lady Macbeth, who isnt a skeptic about this at all. She urges Macbeth to kill their king, King Duncan champion night after their dinner so they both can have the throne. jolted up at first, Macbeth does what she says and kills the king. He was able to do this after he got the kings guard drunk and unsex by him. After the king is found dead, Macbeth is able to find out the throne.




However, the guilt goes to his head as he becomes paranoid and more corrupt as the play progresses. He kills his once wizard Banquo and even attempts to kill his young son. Angry and more paranoid than ever Macbeth goes back to his castle for a royal dinner, that to his dismay he sees the ghost of Banquo sitting at the table. Macbeth goes on frightened rant, confusing his wife and those around him, and yelling at the ghost that no one but him seems to see. Afterwards, still pass Macbeth visits the three witches from earlier and they tell him to beware a man named McDuff and that Macbeth will still be king unless overthrown by someone who isnt born of a woman.
