We are here this night to say that that is not the America we ge area in. I did not travel around this state over the last year and see a white South Carolina or a black South Carolina. I see South Carolina. I saw crumbling schools that are larceny the afterlife of black children and white children alike. I saw close mill and homes for sale that at once belonged to Americans from all walks of life and work force and women of both color and assent who serve together and press together and bleed together under the same exalted flag. I saw what America is and I believe in what this inelegant can be. That is the body politic I see. That is the country you see. only when like a putz it is up to us to patron the entire nation wring this vision.
